At Chili Klaus we are exclusive importers of hot sauces from all over the world and offer a wide selection of different flavors and strengths. We find the hottest and most exciting hot sauces around the globe and bring them home to Denmark. For example Culley's from New Zealand, Queen Majesty from Brooklyn, Adoboloco from Hawaii and many more. In addition, we of course have Chili Klaus' own hot sauces.
If you're interested in chili and have been on YouTube in recent years, you're probably familiar with the show Hot Ones , one of the world's most popular interview formats. Here, host Sean Evans invites famous guests inside as they taste their way through a series of hot sauces of increasing strength. Chili Klaus himself has been a guest on the program several times, and here in the shop you'll find several of the hot sauces that the hard-hitting guests are exposed to on the show.
From mild to extreme
Normally, the strength of the chili is measured in SHU (Scoville Heat Units), but we use Chili Klaus' own wind strength scale from 0 to 15. At wind strength 0 you don't feel anything. This corresponds to a red pepper. At the other end you find wind strength 15, where chilies like the Carolina Reaper and Trinidad Moruga Scorpion with up to 2,000,000 SHU deliver a strength that you remember. We always taste our hot sauces and assign them a wind strength, so you can find exactly the strength that suits you. At Chili Klaus you will find hot sauces in all strengths, from the mild heat of a jalapeño to the extreme strength of a Carolina Reaper.
